DRAWING DISNEY CHARACTERS – VIRTUAL
Learn how to draw some of the most beloved Disney Character’s of all time. Classics like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Winnie The Poo. We also will dive into some current characters like Stitch, Mushu, and Jumba and others. Let our former Disney Animator help your child understand what it takes to create Disney Characters.
FOUNDATIONAL DRAWING I – VIRTUAL
No prior experience with drawing is required or expected. This course focuses on the development of observational skills and drawing techniques, Students in this course will develop both technical abilities and creative responses to material and subject matter. In this class, students will learn: Ink Line Proportion Perspective, one, two and three-point Line quality. Pose 2D size, perception, Body Proportion, Gestures, Volume, Shading, and Art Design. learn construction drawing methods to draw simple object the create drawing with a sense of depth, weight and correct proportions like bottles, tea cups, plates, boxes and organic fruits and vegetables.
PRINCIPLES AND ELEMENTS OF DESIGN – VIRTUAL
This course is designed to teach students how to understand images and to identify the principles and element that create the effects of design. Without this foundation students will not understand visual communication necessary for industries such as illustration, photography, animation or gaming design.
STORYBOARDING – VIRTUAL
A storyboard is a graphic organizer in the form of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture, animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence. In animation, the storyboarding stage may be followed by simplified mock-ups called “animatics” to give a better idea of how the scene will look and feel with motion and timing. At its simplest, an animatic is a series of still images edited together and displayed in sequence with rough dialogue (i.e., scratch vocals) and/or rough soundtrack added to the sequence of still images (usually taken from a storyboard) to test whether the sound and images are working effectively together.
SKETCHING – VIRTUAL
The students will learn the basic principles used in creating a sketch. Principles include, shape, form, line, value, color, space, composition, emphasis, rhythm, and exaggeration, balance, proportion, Harmony, Variety, and texture. All classes will consist of a brief lecture in class followed by sketches done outside the classroom. We will stay close together as a class while students are encouraged to sketch what interests them the most.
