Summer Camp FAQ’s

How do I enroll ?

If you have any issue with the sign up process call , chat or e-mail us with any questions, see below maybe we have already answered your questions.

Do you just have Summer Camps or  do you offer Regular courses as well ?

We have courses to offer September to May , each course length last between 10 and 12 weeks. If you take a Summer Camp with us , ask to be placed on our mailing list and we will send you our Monthly Newsletters and keep you updated when we post our regular course schedules.

My children really enjoyed the Summer Camp , how can they continue ?

We encourage you to enroll your child in as many Summer Camps as possible , this will expose them to a lot of different types / techniques in Animation and then they can decide what is best for them to continue on their focus in the Regular Course we offer at Elite Animation Academy.

I live out of state and there is no other program like yours , what do you recommend I do ?

Enroll in a VIRTUAL COURSE , we will offer Virtual Courses during our  Winter , Spring and Fall sessions. We will have from basic Drawing Fundamentals to 3D Animation available and everything in between !

Where are your Summer Camps ?

We have two studios offering Summer Camps in Tampa, Florida and Orlando, Florida. Make sure when you enroll that the Summer Camp you choose is at the time and place and in the correct  studio.

What ages do you allow into Summer Camp ?

The Summer Camps are designed for children ages 8 to 17.

How much does Summer Camp cost ?

The cost for the weekly Summer Camps are $350. We do charge an extra $25 for Art Supplies for the Ink and Paint Summer Camps.

Can I enroll in more than one camp ?

Enroll for as many weeks as you like during the summer, and even choose the same topic. Since the topics are gauged to your child’s interests they will have a whole new experience.

Is early drop off and late pick up for my child available for Summer Camps ?

Yes, you can drop off as early as 8 am (two hours before) and pick up as late as 5 pm (two hours after). There is a $10 per hour/per child charge for this service and can be arranged with you prior to your child attending the camp. Please call at (407) 459-7959 to arrange hours.

What are the dates of the Summer Camps ?

They start June 5th and end August 11th, there are 20 Summer Camps in which we offer one traditional / drawing camp and one computer / digital animation during each of our 10 weeks.

Does my child need to bring any supplies ?

No , we provide everything your child needs for the camps.

What if my child want to attend a specific camp but can’t that week ?

We have scheduled most of our camps to repeat at least twice during the summer and are the same.

What are the hours for Summer Camp ?

We start at 10 AM and end at 3 PM. We have 20 individual Summer Camps (10 Traditional/Drawing and 10 Digital/Computer Camps)

Is lunch provided ?

No lunch is not provided. There is a one hour lunch break from 12 noon to 1 pm. We have a refrigerator in which children can bring a reusable lunch bag. Please remember that we do not store food and everything is disposed of at the end of the day.

Can children leave the camp during the lunch break ?

Only if escorted by parent or guardian, no exceptions. We normally watch a animated film rated PG or lower during the lunch break.

What if my child can’t make a particular day ?

It is ok but there are no refunds, once a Summer Camp is reserved then you are paying for the whole week of  camp.

Can I switch camps once I reserve one ?

I encourage you to speak to your child about there interests in the arts and which camp would be the best fit. Please choose your camp and weeks carefully.  We will sell out early , so don’t wait book your camp early for best selection.

What is the Behavior Policy ?

We want the children to have a fun and rememberable Summer Camp. If your child is disruptive and effecting the overall experience for the other camp attendees. We will give you a warning and speak to you as the parent to correct the behavior, if it continues, we will dismiss your child and call you to pick your child up and there will be no refunds or credits.
